The DRPN is a direct-operated pressure reducing regulator with an optional integral slam-shut valve. Several actuator sizes are available to offer a wide range of outlet pressure settings. This rugged, reliable regulator is used in a variety of natural gas applications such as farm tap, city gate and district stations, and commecial/industrial utilization.
The DRPN is in conformity with the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97/23/EC
and is classified in category IV

0,5 to 35 bar (7.25 to 500 psig)

Versions
The DRPN exists in two versions:
A version without integral slam-shut consisting of:
- A body, an actuator, a connecting part, a bottom
- A cartridge with an integral balanced valve plug / orifice assembly consisting of an orifice sheath and an actuator connection part
A version with integral slam shut consisting of:
- A body, an actuator, a connecting part, a bottom
- A cartridge with an integral balanced valve plug / orifice assembly consisting of an orifice sheath and an actuator connection part
- A slam-shut connecting part replacing the bottom
- A valve with tight shut disk plug, identical to the expansion orifice
- A slam-shut bypass
- A release relay Type OS2 (see Instructional Manual NTAOS2) consisting of:
- a mechanism box (BM)
- a safety manometric box (BMS) to be connected outlet side of the regulator
