MPS "Top Entry" Globe Type Pilot-Operated Regulator, Boot Type

The Type MPS is a pilot-operated pressure reducing regulator with incorporated noise attentuation. The optional slam-shut valve is an integral part of the construction. This regulator is used to reduce the pressure in natural gas transmission lines from 29 to 1233 psig (2 to 85 bar) to distribution pressures of 15 to 870 psig (1 to 60 bar). The low noise level makes this regulator ideal for use in residential areas. The optional slam-shut utilizes a manometric box and a double-stage powering mechanism.

The MPS is in conformity with the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97/23/EC
and is classified in category IV
