The 1805 Series regulators are diaphragm relief valves that protect piping downstream of a regulator for excessive pressure.
The 1805 Series regulators are usually installed between a first and second-stage regulator or in the downstream line from a high pressure regulator used for final-stage service. Its internal parts can be removed without taking the body out of the line.
The 1805 Series relief valves are primarily designed for use in farm tap applications where a safety relief valve is needed between the first and second stage regulators. The 1805 Series is suitable for service on natural gas, air, propane, or any operating medium that is not corrosive to the internal parts. Relief pressure ranges from 5 to 125 psi. Maximum pressure, including buildup, is 150 psi.
