The 1805 Series relief valves protect piping downstream of a regulator from excessive pressure. They are usually installed between first and second-stage regulators or in downstream lines from high-pressure regulators used for final-stage service. Its internal parts can be removed without taking the body out of the line.
The relief valve includes a closing cap and 1/4-inch threaded NPT vent over the adjusting screw.
